About the event
First responder work takes a toll on both the mind and body—but understanding how they work together can help protect your wellness. In this engaging, practical training, Dr. Emily Genever, PhD, LCPC and co-founder of Toned Out, explores how stress, trauma, and high-alert environments impact the nervous system, and what you can do about it. Through the lens of neuroscience, you’ll gain insight into your own reactions, learn tools to regulate your response to stress, and walk away with strategies to build long-term resilience. This training is designed for anyone in public safety looking to take charge of their wellness with real, research-backed solutions.
